This week our cucumbers take a beating and our cherry tomatoes finally turn red. The peppers surprise us again by finally growing buds! Check out Tiffany’s blog post for this week: thrifty20something.com Here’s the list of what we’ve been trying to grow: – Cherry Tomatoes – Zucchini – Squash – Green Onions – Basil – Peppers – Lettuce – Green Beans – Cucumbers – Pumpkin (I know, I’m skeptical too)

Where to buy and which flowering cherry (cherry blossom) is most beautiful?

One thing I am a fan of is city beautification. In particular, I like the ideas of tree-lined boulevards. One specific tree I believe can give the landscape a vibrant feel. That would be none other than the cherry blossom. When I visited Washington, DC, I thought the picturesque cherry blossoms increased the aesthetics of the landscape. That’s one reason I shall venture to Tokyo one day when I get the opportunity. Would you want cherry blossoms in your backyard? Here is a picture of what I’m discussing.

You can see Cherry Blossom in Japan in some of the most unlikely places. Everyone knows about the famous landscape gardens but you can actually see more spectacular displays in tiny rural villages, along country creek banks and even surrounding the playgrounds of country schools. On each of our tours we visit 5 different climatic zones so that our guests are guaranteed of seeing excellent displays of blooms. We will take you to wonderful out of the way places that your guide book will not tell you about. Keep in mind that Springtime in Japan also presents visitors with blooms of azaleas, rhododendron, iris, moss phlox and numerous wildflowers in mountain meadows and seaside marshland. Even skunk cabbage puts on a great display. Bird watchers also find that our tours get them into off the beaten track bird watching places that would be difficult to get to without our private charter coach. Destination Management – Toursgallery is an International small group tour operator specialising in Japan. The photos in this video are from our 2010 Cherry Blossom Spring time tour in Japan. For more information on this tour or any of our other world wide tours visit www.toursgallery.com or email travel@toursgallery.com. Video created by Anna Osetroff . Cherry laurels are extremely popular with landscape designers

see www.seedlingsrus.com or call us at 215 651 8329. We area at 5275 West swamp Rd Fountainville pa 18923 Cherry laurels are extremely popular with landscape designers as foundation shrubs and hedges, but they’re less well known to the public because they’re not showy. Most popular are probably the ‘Otto Luyken’ and ‘Schip’ laurels, both of which I use in my garden — to hide the foundation of my home and the underside of my deck. The taller species functions well as an evergreen screening hedge along my side property line.
